What is ceramic window tint?
Ceramic tint carries a layer of ceramic particles that stops infrared heat. It does that without metal and without needing a dark shade, so a light film can still keep the car cool.
Union Ceramic IR is built on the same carbon base as Carbon IR, with the ceramic layer on top — the most heat control in Union’s range.

Indiana tint law
How dark can you tint in Indiana?
On a car, the front side, rear side and back windows all need to let in at least 30% of light, and the windshield can only be tinted above the AS-1 line. SUVs, trucks and vans can go darker behind the front doors. We check your shade before we cut any film.

Book your appointment
Ask for a quote online or call us, and we will pick a time that suits you.
We clean the glass and cut the film
Every window is cleaned inside and out, and the film is cut to its exact shape.
We fit the film
The film goes on and is smoothed down to the edges, and the back glass is shrunk to fit its curve.
We check it with you
We go over every window with you before you drive home.
What to bring: just your car. When you ask for a quote, tell us its year, make and model and which windows you want tinted.
Aftercare: keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days. A light haze while the film dries is normal and clears on its own.

Is ceramic tint worth it over carbon?
If heat is what bothers you most, yes. Ceramic IR blocks up to 87% of infrared heat against Carbon IR’s 75%, and you feel the difference most on long, sunny drives.
Does ceramic tint have to be dark?
No. The heat control comes from the ceramic layer, not the shade, so even 50% or 70% keeps the car noticeably cooler.
How much does ceramic tint cost?
It depends on your vehicle and how many windows you want done. It costs more than Carbon IR. Send us your year, make and model for an exact price.
Will tint affect my phone, GPS or radio?
No. Union Carbon IR and Ceramic IR have no metal in them, so phones, GPS, keyless entry and the radio work as normal.
