How we tint your car
We clean every window inside and out, cut the film to the exact shape of each piece of glass, and shrink it to fit curved back windows so it sits flat to the edges.
You choose the shade, we check it against Indiana law, and we go over every window with you before you drive away.

Indiana tint law
How dark can you tint in Indiana?
On a car, the front side, rear side and back windows all need to let in at least 30% of light, and the windshield can only be tinted above the AS-1 line. SUVs, trucks and vans can go darker behind the front doors. We check your shade before we cut any film.

We clean the glass and cut the film
Every window is cleaned inside and out, and the film is cut to its exact shape.
We fit the film
The film goes on and is smoothed down to the edges, and the back glass is shrunk to fit its curve.
We check it with you
We go over every window with you before you drive home.
What to bring: just your car. When you ask for a quote, tell us its year, make and model and which windows you want tinted.
Aftercare: keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days. A light haze while the film dries is normal and clears on its own.

How much does car window tinting cost?
It depends on your vehicle, how many windows you want done and the film. A coupe in Carbon IR costs less than a crew-cab truck in Ceramic IR. Send us the year, make and model for an exact price — it is free.
How long does it take?
Most cars take a few hours. Trucks, SUVs and cars with old tint to take off can take longer, and we will tell you when you book.
How dark can I tint my windows in Indiana?
On a car, 30% on the front side, rear side and back windows. SUVs, trucks and vans can go darker behind the front doors. The windshield can only be tinted above the AS-1 line.
Will tint affect my phone, GPS or radio?
No. Union Carbon IR and Ceramic IR have no metal in them, so phones, GPS, keyless entry and the radio work as normal.
Can you take off my old tint?
Yes. We remove old, purple or bubbling film and clean away the glue before the new film goes on.
When can I roll my windows down?
Wait 3 to 5 days while the film dries. A light haze or small water spots in that time are normal and clear on their own.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Union car film is covered against cracking, bubbling, peeling and fading for the life of the film.
